"Back in the day" I'd learn about upcoming performances, master classes, auditions, etc. during rehearsals or at afternoon coffee with colleagues. Then we settled for emails with hyperlinks to event calendars. Lately we're lucky to trade text messages or spot new additions to Facebook calendars. And although I resist replacing cherished face-to-face exchanges, my living an hour and a half away from my friends means I'm looking for any way to stay on top of it.
