Hi there,my name is Tamra and I moved to Lexington from Ca about 4 years ago. Ever since I have been looking for a dance company or performance group to join and have had trouble finding one. This is heartbreaking to me because my number one passion is dance and my only outlet right now is teaching and I would really like to be performing.
Any suggestions?

Hi Tamra,
I understand this transition can be difficult. I was in your shoes a few years ago. Fortunately, you are in a region that is open and welcoming to fellow dance artists. I now live in Evansville, IN but continue to work in Louisville. This is possible partly because of the kind of environment that exists there and much of this can be credited to Moving Collective. And so I would encourage you to get involved in Louisville if you can't find work in Lexington. But feel free to contact me directly and I can help get you in touch will some fellow dancers in KY.
